VIETNAM   T R I P

Welcome to our pages about trip of 6 guys from Karvina to Vietnam, 9.000 kilometers away, riding scooters, rickshaws, bicycles and maybe taking a train.

Do you want to learn what it is like to travel to an exotic country, at least for us, without travel agency? What is it like to meet Vietnamese people in their villages, on their beaches and in their mountains without spending a fortune?
Then follow us on these pages.

As a start, all you need is a will to do something and have few good friends who are up for the challenge. Then it will always work somehow. Somehow.

Live a live you would like to tell the others about. We want to share part of our story here.

As my friend Igor Brezovar says: “It’s better to be travelling among good, poor, friendly and modest people than only caring about making more and more money and be waiting to die”

How about you?

It will be Saigon

Our Plan

We’ll take a train from Karvina to Prague. Then we’ll continue on a plane from Prague through Dubai to Ho Chi Minh City, which we will be calling using its previous name - Saigon. We will rent scooters there and we plan to spend 2 weeks riding circa 1.500 km through southern part of Vietnam. We plan to visit remote villages, meet ordinary Vietnamese people and see their traditions and culture. We will finish our trip on a party in Saigon. And our main goal? To enjoy adventure and have great fun.

OUR TEAM

Ládík
Ládík
The Coach

Ládík is the oldest member of the team. Therefore he is the smartest and the most experienced of us all. His main task will be to keep peace within the team. He is also the most experienced motorbike rider in our team.

Radek
Radek
The trouble-maker

With Radek around, something will always happen. Most of the times it’s any kind of small or big destruction. So, if anything happens, no one will be surprised.

Martin
Martin
The serviceman

Do not underestimate Martin. He is a little big man. In our team he will be like Richard Hammond from Top Gear. You can expect big things from him.

Pavel
Pavel
The Guide

This trip was Pavel’s idea. His task will be to find interesting places and to guide the team through Vietnam. Second important task will be to ensure all the members will return home. Ideally alive.

Roman
Roman
The Scout

Roman is the youngest and therefore the fastest. That’s why he will be the one to be sent to unknown places on scouting missions.

Pavel
Pavel
The Bodyguard

Pavel is the biggest guy from the team. So, his task will be our security. With him around we fear no one and no place. If the team gets scared, then it will be time for Pavel to act.
